Sunday 31 March 2019 with Mrs Flannelette 4 hours including lunch 10am to 2pm.
The lovely Mrs Flannelette (aka Kate Bower) will take you for a fabulous session of brush lettering and an introduction to illustration. You will have the skills and confidence to make your own gift cards and tags, personalised stationery, quotes good enough to frame and the ability to thereafter personalise anything you can think of!
Mrs Flannelette will take you through the fundamentals with easy to follow instruction and all the right materials to demystify that oh so pretty writing. If you are already comfortable with the fundamentals there will be alternative exercises (and materials) to really polish your skills and to give your lettering a professional edge. Before the end of the workshop you will be able to write whatever your heart pleases in your new style. The clever Mrs Flannelette will then show you some sneaky tips so you can create stylish illustrations to accompany your script.
This class is suitable for absolute beginners as well as those who have some experience in brush lettering (including those who have attended our Spring brush lettering workshop). Those clever clogs will have ‘extension’ exercises to perfect their lettering and to build on the skills they already have.
Tambea Kitchen & Garden classes are intimate so you can get to know your fellow attendees, feel comfortable to ask questions, and have the full benefit of Mrs Flannelette’s expert tuition. We provide a delicious light lunch and beverages throughout.
You will leave with a smile on your face, new skills, and a bag of Mrs Flannelette’s favourite tools of the trade. Please let us know in the booking form if you have already attended a brush lettering workshop with Mrs Flannelette so we can tailor your program and take-home bag to suit your experience.
